TECHNICAL BRIEFING

The Technical briefing will be held live on the Evia Runners Association YouTube channel. Additionally, the final remarks will be given on April 3, 2026 at 18:00 at the Steni school.

MEALS

The established Pasta Party will take place on Friday, April 03 2026 at 19:00 at Steni’s school.

ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION ATHLETE/CHIP NUMBER

The electronic recording chip is placed in the athlete’s shoe at the front on the lace. In another place besides the shoe (eg, pocket, backpack, etc.) the chip does not work. You should have your number in a prominent place on the front of the athlete, so that it is immediately visible to the volunteers and organizers of the event. An athlete who does not have his bib number with him and his time does not appear due to incorrect placement of the chip, his participation in the race will be considered invalid.

RACE LAUNCH TIME

The start of the Evia Ultra Trail race will be at 05:00 on Saturday, April 04, 2026.

RACE INTERRUPTION

The race can only be interrupted in case of extreme weather conditions (strong and long-lasting storms). If this happens during the race, the organization will take care to inform the participants in every possible way. Then the participants will be transferred to the start/finish area of ​​the race.

No liquid cups will be offered at the stations. The athletes should have ensured that they have their own glasses.

CHECK OF MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

A mandatory equipment check will be carried out at the race secretariat upon receipt of the numbers and on a random sample of athletes in the race in Kymi. Those who do not wear the mandatory equipment are automatically disqualified from the race and must immediately surrender their number or face a time penalty.

ORGANIZATION PHONE

USE OF POLES

Allowed from startup. As a non-mandatory piece of equipment, it is not checked if someone has them on them all the time or leaves them somewhere to pick up again somewhere else.


MARKING

Their main characteristic, the orange and red paints on trees and rocks. In addition to the basic marking, there are other elements, the yellow-black tape hanging from tree branches mainly, at critical sections or intersections, small plastic signs and signs and white arrows on the asphalt. An athlete who does not see any of the above for at least 500 meters means that he has lost and it is best to turn back to the last mark.

GARBAGE

Respect the mountain and take the trash with them, don’t throw it on the trail. Anyone “caught” littering will be permanently banned from the event

PENALTIES

The athlete is excluded from the competition for the following reasons:

Loss of Control Point
Not having the mandatory equipment
Throwing garbage on the route

TRANSPORT

In cases of injuries, transport to Steni or to a hospital is carried out by the designated agencies, but always with the burden of financial costs on the side of the sufferer. Their organization is not a state service and of course it is not burdened with costs that are not its responsibility.
