RACE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Sports and Cultural Association of Runners of Evia co-organizes with the Region of Central Greece the 2nd Road Race 21.1 km Eretria – Chalkida “Lilantios Half Marathon”, Road race 10 km and Road Race 5 km, which is under the auspices of the Hellenic Federation Associations of Popular Mass Sports – Long Distances (EOSLMA-Y), and with supporters the Municipalities of Eretria and Chalkidea.
The race will be of a charitable nature, as part of the revenue from the registrations will be allocated to the purchase of sports equipment for schools in the area.

Sunday, June 2, 2024

End: Chalkida Beach
-Race 10 km:
Start: 08:15 am Vasiliko
End: Chalkida Beach
– Race 5 km:
Start: 8.30 am Chalkida Beach
End: Chalkida Beach
– Children’s race 1,000m
Start:
08:30 am Eretria
08:30 am Chalcis
TIMING-RESULTS:
Timing will be done digitally with a chip in the running shoe.
The results will be presented in real time, posted immediately after the race, and a message with everyone’s personal time will be sent immediately after the finish. A live streaming service is provided during the termination. The final results will be published after being checked by the organizing committee in the following days of the race.
Refueling and water supply stations at 5km, 10km, 15km, 18km and at the finish line.
REGISTRATION COST:
– Lilantios HM 21,1km : 21€
– Race 10km:: 15€
– Chalkida Run 5km : 12€
– The children’s race is free

BENEFITS:
In total, the benefits to the runner upon completion of his registration are the following:
1. Athlete’s participation number.
2. Digital chip timing.
3. Commemorative engraved medal.
4. Commemorative technical T-Shirt
5. Provision of water, gel isotonic drinks
6. Medical services during and after the end of the race.
7. Transport of the runners to the starting point from Chalkida and return after the end of the race.
TRANSPORTATION OF ATHLETES:
To serve the runners on the day of the race, there will be buses of the organization to transport the runners from Chalkida to Eretria for the start of the 21km race and from Chalkida to Vasiliko for the start of the 10km race.
PARTICIPATION PACKAGE:
Numbers and participation packages will be collected in person by the runners from the points and times that will be announced immediately by the organization. The registered runner may authorize another person to collect the personal number and package.
Substitution of runners and/or change of distance of the race chosen by the participant is not possible under any circumstances upon receipt of numbers and participation packages.
Participation numbers and/or participation packages are not sent by post or in any other way to the beneficiaries.
PERSONAL ITEMS:
In a specially configured area, the possibility of storing the participants’ personal belongings will be provided. It is recommended not to place valuable items in bags/backpacks, as the organization bears no responsibility in case of their loss.
CATEGORIES OF PARTICIPANTS:
The athletes competing in the 21.1 km Eretria – Chalkida “Lilantios Half Marathon” Road Race are divided into age categories according to the following:
MEN – WOMEN
1. up to 39 years
2. 40-49 years
3. 50-59 years
4. 60 years and above
* Overall category winners are excluded from age category awards. A category will be formed if at least 6 athletes participate. In case of no formation of a category, the athletes are included in the previous category.
REGISTRATION FORM:
Participation declarations will be made online on the site of chronolog
On the day of the match, there will be no registration at the secretariat.
PAYMENT OF PARTICIPATION FEE:
The consideration will be paid electronically by card (debit-credit), no other form of payment will be accepted. Payment will be made within three (3) days of registration, otherwise the registration will not be valid. A confirmation email will be sent after payment.
CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION:
Cancellation of participation is accepted until Sunday, May 19, 2023. The money will be returned except for €2, which the bank withholds as administrative costs.
