RACE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Athletic and Cultural Running Club of Evia, in co-organization with the Region of Central Greece, presents the 4th “Lilantios Half Marathon” Road Race.
The event is held in collaboration with the Municipalities of Chalkida and Eretria, under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Sports, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Hellenic Federation of Popular Sports and Ultra-distance Clubs (EOSLMA-Y). It is also supported by EAS SEGAS of Eastern Central Greece-Evia and the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Greece (PED).
RACE DATES:
Sunday, September 14, 2025
– Lilantios Road Race 25.0 km
Start: 08:30 a.m. — Chalkida Seafront
Finish: Chalkida Seafront
–5 km Race
Start: 09:00 a.m. — Chalkida Seafront
Finish: Chalkida Seafront
– Children’s Race 1,000 m
Start: 09:00 a.m. — Chalkida
TIMING-RESULTS:
Electronic timing will be used.
Real-time results will be posted immediately after the race.
Each runner will receive a text message with their personal time after finishing.
Final results will be published after review by the organizing committee in the days following the event..
Water and refreshment stations will be available at: 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, 18 km, and the finish line.
REGISTRATION COST:
– 25 km Race: €25
– 5 km Race: €12
– Children’s Race: Free
Registration deadline: September 7, 2025
BENEFITS:
In total, the benefits to the runner upon completion of his registration are the following:
1. Athlete’s participation number.
2. Digital chip timing.
3. Commemorative engraved medal.
4. Commemorative technical T-Shirt
5. Provision of water, gel isotonic drinks
6. Medical services during and after the end of the race.
7. Transport of the runners to the starting point from Chalkida and return after the end of the race.
RACE KIT PICK-UP
Race kits and bib numbers must be collected in person from designated locations and times that will be announced soon by the organizers.
Participants may authorize another person to collect their race kit.
Changes to participant names or race distance are not permitted at any stage.
Race kits will not be shipped or mailed under any circumstances.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
A designated area will be available for storing participants’ personal belongings.
Valuable items should not be left in bags — the organizers bear no responsibility in case of loss.
AGE CATEGORIES – 25 km Race
Participants in the “Lilantios Half Marathon” will be categorized by age as follows:
MEN – WOMEN
1. up to 39 years
2. 40-49 years
3. 50-59 years
4. 60 years and above
* Overall category winners are excluded from age category awards. A category will be formed if at least 6 athletes participate. In case of no formation of a category, the athletes are included in the previous category.
REGISTRATION FORM:
Participation declarations will be made online on the site of chronolog
No on-site registrations will be available on race day.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payment must be made electronically by credit/debit card only.
Payment must be completed within 3 days of registration, otherwise, the registration will be canceled.
A confirmation email will be sent after payment.
CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION:
Cancellations are accepted up to Sunday, September 7, 2025.
Refunds will be issued minus a €2 administration fee charged by the bank.
